うーん、低遅延なのはCDMAだからじゃないんですよねぇ。こちらの記事にも書いた通り、理論上はフレームが2msのWCDMAと27msのCDMA2000では、WCDMAの方が遅延はずっと小さくなるんです。にもかかわらずauの方が早いということは、逆に言えばソフトバンクがそれだけ品質の低いバックボーンを使っているということになります。ドコモやauも昔はソフトバンク相当のRTTが出ていたんですが、ある時期から一気に早くなりました。しかしソフトバンクはいつまでたっても遅いまま、というよりむしろ最近どんどん悪化しています。免許数だのなんだので見えやすい基地局数をアホみたいに増やして「品質改善！」なんて言っている裏で、バックボーンの品質改善はまったくやっていないということ
